Erika Sabraw

Partner Erika Sabraw has diverse industry experience ranging from working with Hawaii's most recognized companies, organizations, and non-profits to helping local families protect and secure their financial future. 

Born and raised in Hawaii, Erika graduated from the University of Hawaii, Shidler College of Business with a Finance Degree. She attributes her career success to her formative years at Shidler and routinely spends her time at various business networking events, career expos, and staying connected with professionals. Her first involvement in Hawaii's dynamic business community led to serving as the Corporate Group Administrator for one of the world's largest Life Insurance companies. In this role, she effectively guided corporate clients through various Insurance products available to their employees.

Erika began her New York Life career in 2018. As a new Agent, she achieved Top 1% production levels with the most Life Insurance applications submitted, resulting in a two-time Council* achievement. During this time, she specialized in serving Hawaii's local families and businesses as well as the Department of Education. From there, she quickly progressed to Associate Partner in 2021 and Partner in 2022 where she now recruits, develops, and manages a team of successful Agents and Advisers.

Jason T. King
Development Manager

Jason is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa where he was a Business Major with an emphasis in Marketing. Prior to joining the New York Life family in August of 2014, Jason was an account manager with Xerox Hawaii for 10 years. He went from an Agent to a Registered Representative with NYLIFE Securities shortly after his first year. Jason qualified for the following sales achievement awards; New York Life's Quality and Executive Council*, Life All Star, Annuity Elite Silver, as well as qualifying for the industry's premier association of financial professionals, the Million Dollar Round Table.  In October of 2022 Jason was promoted to role of Development Manager for the Hawaii General Office.

Jason's core functions include overseeing & conducting training and development for all Agents and Advisors, which involves but is not limited to financial solutions design; sales & prospecting techniques; and sales activity training.

Jason is committed to keeping up his own knowledge, as he is working towards the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation and recognizes that all of that would be a waste if he can't impart that knowledge onto the agents he trains. Jason aims to make training both fun and informative by utilizing the adult learning model which, unlike the lecture and note taking some students may be used to, incorporates lots of demonstration, group discussion, and practice through role-playing real world scenarios.

David A. Glaser,
Agency Productivity Support

David started his New York Life career in the Internship
Program with the Valley Forge General Office in September of 2004.

Upon graduating Villanova University as a Finance and International Business Major in 2005, David began full time with New York Life.  David went from an Agent to a Registered Representative with NYLIFE Securities and ended up as a Financial Adviser with Eagle Strategies LLC, A Registered Investment Adviser and subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Company.  David qualified for the following sales achievement awards; New York Life's Executive, and Premier Executive Councils* before being promoted to Sales Development Manager in March of 2009,  Senior Sales Development Manager in 2012, Director of Development in 2015, and most recently to the Agent Productivity Support team in July of 2022.

David works with his counterpart, Dirk Feather to support agents across the Pacific and Northeast Zones to accelerate the growth of an agent's career path and take them to the next level.

Agency Productivity Support

Dirk graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources before serving as a Commissioned Officer in the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment for 4 years before joining the financial industry in 2001.  

Dirk Joined New York Life in 2012 as an Executive Council Agent in the Hudson Valley General Office.  In October of 2014 he joined the Tactical Strategies and Sales Team at the Home Office.  His experience includes serving as an Internal Life Product Consultant supporting agents in the orphan distribution program, Variable Universal Life, Employee Whole Life, large case design and increasing agent retention.  In August of 2019 he took on the role of Development Manager in the Southern Connecticut General Office and more recently took on the role of Agent Productivity Support Development Manager serving agents across the Northeast and Pacific Zones. 

When Dirk isn't working he is most likely volunteering his time to the community or spending quality time with his wife Ashli and son Jaime.  He is a certified Level II Fire Fighter and has served his local department since 2012.  He also volunteers at The John J. McCarthy Observatory, a local educational non-profit.
